It's 2020 and I'm still buying stuff from the sims 3 store

Does anyone have any idea when the next sale for simpoints will be? I was seperated from my computer last June and missed out big time last sale... Please let me know, desperately trying to complete my collection.

I dont think a sale is likely but, who knows. Around Christmas is the next possibility.

I just started Sims 3 this summer with my daughter and we have a lot of fun with store items. We use the make me an offer and complete your set functions a lot. The threads on cascades and using the CYS are amazing resources

I plan on buying some store items soon.I realllyyy want Lucky Palms but its so expensive. So I'm probably just gonna make do with a few nice sets :p

@lolchick101 I hope you can do it. It took me two or three years to purchase all store worlds. I don't play them very much, but they are lovely.

I think we need a new version of this thread: "IT'S 2021 AND I'M STILL BUYING STUFF FROM THE SIMS 3 STORE"
And yeah, I bought some stuff for my sims this January.

I'm so grateful for those who gifted me things long ago. I ended up owning half of the store because of it. I remember having many tabs and windows open to farm simpoints through ads. Setting alarms to go off @ 2am for daily deals and my husband would question my sanity because of it. ? Now I probably own 90%... the only items remaining are individual items separate from sets & worlds.

Does EA still do simpoint sales? I know the ads are gone. I agree with those who say that the store was expensive full price.

Who knows with that silly forum rule about bumping old threads. Yes, random Sims 4 players popping into ancient Sims 3 threads getting the two games confused is annoying but if a thread is still relevant or even ageless, I see no problem bumping it. :| -rant over-
