After reporting back to the Special Merchant, the boys headed to the Resolute Fist Retreat to begin the fun part of the quest :) Standing on the pressure plate revealed stairs (to the right).

The boys cleared piles of rubble in the first room they came to. The rubble Sam cleared uncovered a hole in the wall which opened a secret door.

Beathan used the key stone to open the main door.

Silly me! I should have taken heed of Beathan's wish to disarm a fire trap! But no, instead I told him to go to the moveable statue! :#

Let's pretend I was prepared and had bought the boys showers in a can ;) Because the boys were underground, I didn't realize it was way past dinner time! I had them eat some morsels they had found in various chests and holes in walls/floors.

I then had Sam kiss Beathan's boo boo better :p

The boys explored a few corridors filled with fire traps which were turned on and off by hidden switches. This time it was Sam's turn to find some bugs ;)

One of the switches that Beathan found uncovered a hidden door that required a little effort to open.

The door led to the last room and the quest was complete. The boys would have to wait until morning to report in.
