Yep, we're a friendly bunch of players in this section... And we will defend our favorite game if a die hard TS4 player comes over here to try to convince us that TS4 is way better than TS3 in every aspect there is which isn't quite often unless someone starts a TS3 vs. TS4 thread in another section of the site and it gets moved over here. But even after awhile, threads like that tend to finally get locked by the site management team as they tend to get out of hand on occasions, usually by a TS4 player who might starts flamebaiting the TS3 players.

@lisasc360 unless your main enjoyment is making sims, your not missing much, then again if you really like the sims 3 and you did play 4, you'd be missing alot. all comes down to perspective i guess lol.
there is some things sims 4 does better, but without a good base game, it doesnt matter much, it wont make up for it.
Making Sims isn't my strong suit as I tend to make them all look almost like each other as I'm not really good at creating very unique looking Sims. Or at least in my I'm not very good at it. But I do like the TS3 CAS better than TS4 CAS and that might be I'm not used to the tugging and pulling on the Sims as I'm more used to the TS3 sliders that we have.
Of course I still want to give TS4 a shot and just maybe buy a couple of packs one of these days especially The Jungle Adventure as well as Island Living and Strangerville. I've seen pictures of the Jungle Adventure and some of the area reminds me of areas from my World of Warcraft game which is probably why I want to give that one a try. Strangerville looks interesting as well and it that one could be fun to play with too. Island Living looks nice as well. I like the idea of interacting with the dolphins but I not too sure if I would the dive lots to be rabbit holes as I do like to see the underwater scenery on TS3. Of course I just finally sent one of my Sims who is level 4 in scuba diving to her first dive lot in Isla Paradiso (I've fixed a couple of things in that world to keep it from lagging so much) and was amazed by the beauty of being under the water like that. Of course I didn't keep her too long down there as a couple of sharks started to swim around, so I sent her to the cave near by which led her to a small island just a little ways from the dive lot.
As you can see, I still have a lot that I want to do in TS3 but I'll play TS4 when I get bored with TS3 and my WoW which happens every so often and then I'll a break from those games.
And I do like having the store as well to be able to get whatever we want for our game rather it be in a set or just an individual piece or a few pieces from a set that we may not want all of the items from. I also like being able to download other players worlds that they've created for TS3 and taking little tours around them to see what all they've built and put in them. Plus I do love using CAP tool to create our own patterns for the game instead of having preset colors to choose from as it gives us more of a variety and a personal touch to our clothing or objects in the game... :)
