Kate Part 28:
This update took two days and about 200 screenshots to get what I needed. I most likely will not post anything tomorrow as I'm getting 2 wisdom teeth and one back tooth that a Wintergreen lifesaver killed (crown popped off) pulled tomorrow, they will be putting me under and I'm very paranoid about that.... :'( I've been seriously stressing about it for about a month!
Recap of what happened a few days ago...
Jared saw her from a distance...*was it really her, it had been almost 3 years*
Yes, it was her, it was Julia!
He asked why she was back in town, she said her mother had died so she could come back without any trouble.
It was almost as if no time had passed....

3 Years ago, Summer Vacation

Connor, Jared their parents and their cousins Brandon and Nate were settling in on their rented houseboat where they were vacationing on Isla Paradiso for a month.
Napping and drinking in the hot tub were prime activities...
Connor took to skinny dipping...
Nate being the biggest geek went right to the computer..
Down the road Julia was staying in a little cottage with her overbearing mother, she spied 4 guys in the water splashing around like kids.
She decided to go down to the water and check them out...one or two looked promising..one of the cute redheads came over and started chatting with her. he said his name was Connor.
He seemed nice enough and they had a lot on common..
He asked her out on a date for the next night, she said she would be happy to go.
Date night went very well...
They decided on a walk over to the Cemetery as Julia told Connor she loved Cemeteries, she loved reading the headstones.
He asked Julia if she would like to meet his family, she said she would love to..
Jared was the only one home he had a nice chat with her. Actually it looks like Nate was home too he must have been busy.
Connor had disappeared and Julia was getting tired so she took off.
More dates followed, Connor and Julia were inseparable the whole month..
Connor asked her to be his girlfriend a few days before they all went home.
The group decided to go down to the beach for one last sunny day of fun as they were going home the next day. Everyone played in the sand..
Julia got a horrible sunburn as did Brandon and Jared.
Everyone got ready to leave the next morning, Julia lived in Sunset too with her mother, and Connor was excited to find out she was going to be applying at the same building he worked at for Journalism, they might get to work together.
Connor started acting funny about a month after they all got back, Julia had indeed gotten a job in Journalism and due to her genius trait wound up being Connor's boss. This didn't seem to sit well with Connor as he was in his mid 30's and his 21 year old fresh out of college girlfriend was his boss.
They found a private spot to discuss the issues...
Julia told Connor he was being silly, he really didn't want to hear that...
The matter was pretty much swept under the rug. Things went back to semi normal.
Julia was working long hours, she and Connor started drifting apart...Connor was becoming better friends with Emma, who he had met at the diner one day.
Emma was a very forward girl....
Connor was so starved for attention he didn't resist...
They started seeing each other on the sly, and went everywhere together as long as Connor knew Julia was at work.
One day about a month into the affair Connor forgot Julia said she would be home early and would meet him at the diner...He met Emma there by mistake.
She wasn't surprised as Connor had been acting strange, but she wasn't happy about it either...
Emma felt her wrath too!
I have Never ever seen this before when Julia was leaving Connor started crying on Emma's shoulder! guess he will miss her..a little.
Julia headed right over to the nearest bar and ordered a round...the bartender has a warped sense of humor as they are Romantic drinks!
The last person she wanted to see was any relative of Connors but Jared saw she was sad and tried his best to cheer her up, he dragged her onto the dance floor.
She told him everything...
They went down to the beach for a few more drinks.
They to her surprise were getting along great! She had remembered Jared as kind of a j*erk.
Connor was a major pain the next day at work.
Gonna leave it here or it will be WAY too long, will try to post the rest tomorrow, after my teeth yanking.
Just a note about Emma and Connor smooching in the back of the diner and Julia catching them. That really happened in my game when I had only been playing a few weeks, Connor was my favorite and I had just made a Simself who was of course dating him. She went in back of the diner by herself and I saw it said accuse of cheating. I had never seen that before but Connor had been smooching with Emma (of all Sims!!), I was peeved beyond words and for 3 seconds I seriously thought about deleting Connor. My SS dumped him and stayed single for a long time.
I adore Julia, she is one of my oldest Sims and is named after my favorite grandmother, who I think would have gotten a kick out of my Sims, if she were still alive.
