Launcher crash when I scroll through installed content?

When I go to installed content, this thing pops up that says "Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000014 at address 0x1029760b. Do you wish to debug it ?" And it crashes if I click yes a...

I've been researching still and it appears that I can put DBC files into the mods folder and it will appear in game? This would stop the launcher from crashing, but would it still make my game freeze? Should I try this? @igazor
