I got a Mod to stop deaths from the jellybean bush and other Mods to stop other deaths from killing my legacies off right away.I have had things glitch out a few times like not knowing a patch had broken the switch for turining the EA bugfest off meant I had to learn how to get NRaas story progression configured how I wanted it which was like the TS2 story progression.
