Looking for a pair of lost men's boots

A few months ago I began playing The Sims 3 in earnest again and, to my dismay, my favorite pair of men's boots had vanished! Since I have all the Expansion/Stuff Packs installed that I had before as well as hundreds of Store items (I think), I have NO IDEA where they came from originally. I've searched the Store, no luck there. It seems they were a Steampunk item, but I've checked through and can't find them there either. Please, can anyone help me find my lost boots? Here's a graphic from screenshots from my old games:

@pax1sw - If you contact EA Customer Support and prove that you have purchased/registered/own even one tiny bit of TS2, or if you are lucky and get a sympathetic support agent and just say "TS2" or prove that you know how to spell it, they may give you the TS2 Ultimate Collection free of (further) charge to run by way of Origin.

I keep meaning to do this myself to finally give that iteration a try and see what all the fuss was about, but since I honestly never owned TS2 it never seemed quite proper to ask. Maybe one of these days. :)

hmmm... Ultimate Collection is the TS2 version Origin installed for me, but... is it supposed to have everything? Because it doesn't... unless some items are hiding in catalogs I don't naturally associate them with. Already had that happen more than once the last couple of days, usually skill items. Seems the bathtub should be with the rest of the tubs, though. Now I'm totally confused. This has been a very weird and frustrating trip down Simmie Lane for me.
  • igazor, it's more pitiful than I thought; just talked to my daughter-in-law today and she refreshed my memory re TS1 & TS2, she was the one who started me on my long Sims addiction. Seems Making Magic is TS1, so is the large square bathtub. Of all the iterations of The Sims, I was most into TS1 because I was actually capable of designing objects for it. (I stumbled across a way to make the curtains and tapestries I created vanish so they didn't block your view of your sims before that ability was introduced into the game.) She reminded me of how long I mourned for TS1 after moving on to TS2. Got to face it, The Sims in ALL its incarnations has always been a phenomenal game... and I always cry for the loss of a lot of things I loved about the previous game before I discover a lot of new things to love in the newest version.
