mermaids stuck mid-transformation

When my sim became a mermaid, this almost happened. It took about 5 hours of sim time and then she just dropped and voila I had a mermaid! It may just take some time... Annoying thing though,I panicked XD
The gurus will hopefully fix it is an uopdate!?

Still seems weird, though, because the first 2 worked instantly.

You Sim is stuck mid-transformation so he/she is not either human or mermaid, you need to get in the water and then cheat he/she into a mermaid then remove the occult and he/she should be normal again, it took me all day to work out so I hope this helps you all ☺️ (Cheats are underneath)

You can add the Mermaid Trait to your Sim using the above testing cheats then typing Traits.Equip_Trait Trait_OccultMermaid. Similarly, you can return a Sim back to human by using the Traits.Remove_Trait Trait_OccultMermaid cheat.

None of which is relevant for TS3 I'm afraid, which is what this thread was about years ago. The two games, TS3 and TS4, are very different from each other in many regards.
