Misunderstood Part 22:
A short one....Flashback to camp 4 months ago...
Pearl was sent to camp by her parents, it was lame and she hated it so she snuck out and found a nice private bridge, it was pretty and she liked watching the water. A boy approached her, she knew this boy he was one of the most popular boys in school.
"Hi Thornton" she said confidently..
Thornton replied "Hey Pearl" back...Pearl was surprised he knew her name though she had been getting more popular last school year being on the cheerleading squad.

They had a wonderful chat about school, friends, sports, and thoughts on being a senior in a few weeks.

All of a sudden Thornton lunged forward and kissed the daylights out of Pearl!

Her mind was reeling...but she couldn't resist him, she had in truth had a crush on him for two years...

They were inseparable for the remainder of the summer...their last day of summer they spend the night together at an out of the way fishing spot Thornton had found earlier.
