Misunderstood Part 24:
Claire Ursine was as typical as they come, a sweet girl who moved in town when she was 33 years old, drawn to the beauty of Sunset, but mostly for the fishing, being an angler her thoughts always went strait to catching the biggest and the best.

Though fishing never paid much, and bills had to be paid as she had rented out a sweet little house, it wasn't much but it was all she could afford right now. She landed a job in journalism and befriended Fiona Mc Irish who she worked with, and he daughter River. Claire frequently baby sat River when Fiona went to her second job 3 nights per week, the two had a big sister/little sister type bond.

Fiona worried for Claire, she knew Claire was lonely, never being very lucky in love. Claire had a few not terribly serious boyfriends in high school and one in college but they never panned out. It was hard to find someone with Claire's interests, the girl who loved the outdoors and fishing, these were things only a select few guys liked now that computer games were all the rage.
It's not like Claire didn't go out and meet guys, she just hadn't found the "right one" yet..(meeting her across the street neighbor Bryce..)

Fiona was talking a trip out to Bridgeport for a week to visit with her parents and wondered if Claire would like to tag along, there were tons of fun things to do in Bridgeport, and also plenty of single good looking guys..Fiona was determined that Claire would meet someone nice. Claire had no other plans so she agreed to go.
River loved the idea of Claire going with them..

They arrived on Friday night and Claire immediately asked where there was some fishing spots, Fiona said they were having a little get together with a few of her Bridgeport friends down by the ocean, there was always good fishing there.
Fiona's friend Beau cooked hot dogs for Fiona and River..

Claire remained silent as she wasn't sure chatting while fishing was tolerated by the guy, she didn't mind but some do..
After an hour or so Fiona came over and told Claire she and River were leaving as River was tired...

Claire commented that she was going to come back to Fiona's parents apartment too as she wanted to get up early and try a new spot over by the bridge...

Richie had overheard the pretty fishing girl and he assumed her older sister or mother or something...talking about going fishing by the bridge the next morning, Richie wanted to meet the pretty girl so he decided to try and find where she would be the next morning. He woke up at the crack of dawn..

He arrived at his favorite spot at 5:00 but no pretty girl, he was trying to think where else she might be when the pretty girl noticed him just standing there...she recognized him from the night before and decided to be brave and introduce herself..

"Hello.." she said to him..he turned around and she got a good look at him, he was gorgeous she though to herself, the attraction was in fact not one sided, he got a look at Claire and was dazzled...the instant attraction Claire had always heard about but never experienced had finally happened!

Come to find out Richie was the chatty type while fishing so in the hours they fished they got to know each other petty well.

After lunch they went out back to talk some more, come to find out they both had wicked sences of humor..Claire kept Richie laughing with her funny stories.

Richie was rapidly becoming enamoured with this girl...he wanted to spend much more time with her.

Claire went beck to the apartment and told Fiona all about Richie, Fiona recognized the name, he was a friend of her friends Matthew and Beau. Fiona casually asked if Claire wanted to go to the art gallery that night, Clair said she would love to..Fiona had a plan in mind...and smiled to herself.
Fiona had Beau, Matthew and Richie meet them there, she was going to make sure Claire spent every minute she could with Richie, she could tell the girl was head over heels.
