Mod the Sims

There are some very good and accurate looking sims on this website. I remember having an issue downloading these sims into my game.

I haven't tried recently, but just in case I thought I would ask if there is a certain way to do this???? It isn't like downloading from the sims from this website. Can someone tell me the right way to download the sims on the mod the sims page????
