Moving an entire family tree to a new save/town

I've downloaded some cc towns, and I would like to move multiple families across to this town. I'm aware I would have to create a new save, which isn't an issue, I'd just like to move the entire famil...

My way (possibly not the most efficient) is to merge them all into one household with NRAAS control panel (up to 24 sims), save them to the bin and from there to the new save. ghost in the tomb format (=not playable but as tomb in sim's inventory) doesn't count in the 24, so practically if there are dead sims in your tree you can move more than 24 in that household.
I'm doint it right now with a corrupted save I have, managed to rescue the households at least.
