@abe Yes, you can transfer households from the Library and sims from the SavedSims folders between installations, aqfter all, you can also upload them to the web for others to use :) All that is required is to ensure that you have reinstalled any requisites they have, such as build mode items, or CAS content in the case of Sims.
The only problem with the Library is identifying which file is which (if you need to) due to the way the game names the file with random numbers.
If you do need to identify specific Library files, you may find
