I don't have a horse in this race, so to speak, meaning that the issue does not affect me one way or the other. But I would like to point out that Disney does not have a reputation for blatantly ignored intellectual property laws nor doing (stealing) things by accident. One might think they have a lawyer or two on staff. Or perhaps a world full of them. Isn't AttorneyLand one of the major sections of their flagship theme park? :)
