@JoAnne65 Funny, my first thought was Mona, a name that's easy enough in English (and probably most languages) but more common in the Middle East. (I also like Talia for the sim.)
@king_of_simcity7 If her family is from some tropical, ethnically diverse islands, how about a Hawaiian name? There are plenty of interesting ones in Hawaiian, but the places have nice names as well. Your first pic made me think a bit of Hana (on Maui), which is lovely. The seven sacred pools are near there, and the views are absolutely stunning (try a google image search if you're curious).
