The mechanical gnomes are worth 10,000 simoleans to sell. Or you can keep them until they die and then they become a tombstone worth 1,500 simoleans and 5 environment points.
For some strange reason I've been keeping mine - but I have only 1 or 2 assembled at a time. :roll:
