World Adventures was one of the first EP's that I had bought. My sim travelled to France and went to the Art museum and there on pedestals were all three WA gnomes. Since I hadn't been playing Sims for very long and I didn't know anything about gnomes, I didn't know what they were and I left them there.
Not long after that when my sim returned home the dog gnome kept showing up and that's when I googled to find out what it was and found out about the other gnomes as well. I was very upset with myself because I could have scored all three at once.
I used to leave gnomes I came across too. I only kept the ones I found in my Sims inventory or if I found them on my home lot. These days I grab them when I find them. I got one standing on a table in outside the cafe in the market in China. And I grab the gnomes I find in the museum in France. There are still a few I've never got. But I live in hope
That consignment store idea looks like something I should investigate.
And I might put a claw machine in my Sim's house. I have done that a few times before but I forgot about finding gnomes in it.
I always buy the ones I find for sale at the consignment store. Even if I have to do a money cheat to afford it.
I don't think I've found a gnome in the claw machine. I really like this thread because gnomes have shown up on my lot and I have no idea how they got there, but since I'm always deleting games and starting new ones, I don't know how to get them to show up again.
This thread is really helpful.
