Need help with homeshooling mod

@igazor besides the nraas sp & careers mod what else do I need to home school simlets, for elementary & high school, on a deserted island world? Any additional mods or buildings?

I'm playing a free of origin standalone s3 patched to 1.67. To be honest the new, but wonderful to have, site for nraas is not as easy for me to read & follow as the old wiki site. I'm confident I'll get it straight eventually, but in the mean time I need to sort the homeschooling angle if possible within the next week or two.
  • You require the Careers mod Schools add-on module. SP doesn't have anything to do with the availability of custom schooling options, but it will progress the sims not actively being played (or not as per its settings) through whatever kinds of schools it does recognize.

You do need a City Hall, because technically that is where students are enrolled even if they never set foot in the place. But also note that without easy access to a City Hall your kids will require access to computers because there wouldn't be any other way to obtain and turn in homework assignments otherwise. If a big honking municipal building in the middle of your island world just doesn't seem to fit in properly with your plans, a custom rabbithole rug can be used as a substitute. Note this also brings City Hall based careers like Politics to the table, so you may need to disallow those by way of Town Options in SP.

With no City Hall and no school buildings or rabbithole rugs entirely, as you have probably already seen, there is no formal schooling system and children/teens are not required or able to participate in it unless (I think) you send them away to the boarding schools from Generations.

    Thank you.
As to the building I'll be tucking the LL city hall rabbithole into a basement, with access through a shack much like I did on this build for Caldey Isle. ;)
