Hello! I'm new to the Sims Online community, though I've been playing Sims since the original Sims 1! My sister and I would have for hours on it, taking turns every hour or so. It's insane, because now I can look at it and think; "oh my gosh, so limited, how did I have fun with that?"
Just goes to show you that imagination is more why we have fun with it, I guess ;)
As far as my simming style goes, I used to be very reliant on cheats, however after discovering Challenges have really grown to like working without them as well. I currently have two legacies going, The Morrison Family (on generation four) and the Brooks Family (On generation two). I also have a Perfect Genetics Challenge (still working on getting my first heir) and have completed the Runaway Teen challenge and the Cinderella Challenge.
As you can see I like to hop around a bit! With my Morrison family I'm very attached and try really hard to give them a great life; beautiful weddings, honeymoons, college, days at the park, ect. Which is fun for me, but sometimes I want to do some more relaxed playing, hence why I created The Brooks, who are pretty to look at but not aiming for perfection quite as much :p
I also have a Beauty and the Beast challenge that I've put a lot of effort into setting up, but haven't played yet. I'm reaaally tempted to try doing a Let's Play on Youtube, and if I do I want to use the Beauty and Beast challenge to start me off!
Hopefully with the release of the Sims 4, this community won't have died out already. <3
