Hi everyone! I'm PolarPhantom (preferably just Polar) and I've had the Sims 3 for about a year now, but I never actually checked out the forums. So I figured with school letting out in the next week or so for me I might as well use the relative lull in schoolwork to actually become active in the forums. Anyways, I might as well answer those questions (plus other random facts about myself...), so here we go.
1) What is your favorite EP/SP and why?
Hmm... for this one I'd have to say Pets, because I love the animals it adds and the cool new interactions you can do. My second favorite would have to be Supernatural because I really love the alchemy skill.
2) What is your favorite thing about playing the game?
For me, I'd have to say it's the variety. You don't have to conform to just one gameplay pattern and it never really gets old because of all the choices you can make. I like how what you have your Sim do has consequences, just as there are in real life. It's really entertaining because I can play however I want and if I get bored, I can always start a challenge made up by a fellow Simmer.
3) Do you play with cheats? If so, which ones?
For the most part I avoid cheats, especially money cheats because I find that to be much too easy. I will occasionally add a Sim to my household using testingcheatsenabled but that's pretty rare and I prefer to play with the ones I've made already (or adopt from the shelter).
4) Do you have any tips/tricks you'd like to share?
Hmm... I can't really think of any off the top of my head.
5) Did you buy the Sims 4? If so, what are your favorite and least favorite things?
I haven't, actually, I'm still trying to get all the expansions for Sims 3, haha. I'll probably get it eventually, when it's cheaper, as I can't really afford it at the price it is right now. It looks pretty cool though, from what I've seen.
So the questions are done, now here are some random facts about myself.
-I love Doctor Who. Love. It.
-Sherlock is awesome - both the books and the TV series.
-I love anything Marvel/DC.
-My favorite superhero is Iron Man.
-I like hunting and fishing.
-I'm not what most would define as the "typical girl".
-I'm a really organized person who for some strange reason has a really messy room.
-I love reading and writing.
-Most of my friends are guys.
-I love playing cards (especially with my dad or my guy friends).
-I act like a walking thesaurus even though I'm technically not.
Before I get to carried away I think I'll just stop there (if you haven't stopped reading already). Maybe I should have put 'I tend to ramble' in there... Anyways, I can't wait to meet y'all and meet plenty of people in the Sims forums!
