Hello, I usually lurk, but I am looking forward to being more active. I got hooked on Sims 1 shortly after Vacation came out and have been playing since. My current computer can't run Sims 3 very well so it has been a while since I've played it, but will try to answer to the best of my memory.
Some Questions to Get You Started
1. What is your favorite EP/SP and why?
I enjoyed most of them, but I think my favorite was Island Paradise. I enjoyed running the resorts and the world that came with it was beautiful.
2. What is your favorite thing about the game?
My favorite thing about the game would have to be the family play. There are so many activities for families to do and interactions between parent/child and child/child. Makes for some cute moments and great storytelling.
3. Do you play with cheats? If so, which ones?
I tend to use the building cheats a lot and when I get bored of the day to day stuff like eating and sleeping, I will cheat to fill their needs.
4. Do you have any tips/tricks you'd like to share?
I don't think much of what I did was really a trick, but I used to put all of my items into various collections. This made finding a specific item much faster.
5. Did you buy the Sims 4? If so, what are your favorite and least favorite things?
I did buy Sims 4 and that is what I play most of the time now. I am not sure why exactly, but to me the game seems to be a lot simpler than Sims 3. For me, I am finding it easier to focus on the family I am playing and not be as concerned about what is going on out in the world. I do find the game lacking in what my sims can do as a family. I find the single life and "bro" culture to be too prevalent in the game for my tastes. I enjoy building and decorating in Sims 4 more than previous games.
