@Karritz; Ah, but turning breakups off prevents those divorces. In fact, if you turn breakups off, then it means that any pairing that occurs in game will eventually become marriage. Well, ALMOST guarantees it. I've seen a few occasions when it doesn't; generally it means one of the two has commitment issues that the other apparently never knew anything about. But they'll still have babies together, even if one or both of the Sims dislikes children.
I know most people don't want to turn off breakups completely, but I just find that it saves hassle, particularly when there's a specific pairing I really want in a given game.
Actually, you don't have to set up any castes; the age castes pre-exist. All you need to do is go into castes, select one of them (like "elder"), and then set it up within there (under "Romance: Disabled castes") to turn off the other ages. I first looked into it when I was playing a game in a custom world where I had created and placed all the Sims, and all these elderly women kept snapping up all the really good-looking YA men. Since elder women can't get pregnant, and I didn't want those particular men being taken out of the gene pool, I looked into how I could prevent it. I thought I would have to create all the castes for myself when I first read about it, but no, the age castes already exist.
