Nvidia inspector stopped working to cap fps

I updated my graphics driver yesterday and now nvidia inspector won't work. I'm getting 90-100 fps in game when I should get only 60. I set vertical sync to force on and I'm trying to set the frame rate limiter to 60, but it doesn't save. When I click "apply changes" it reverts back to off. Please help. I really want to play my game.

  • Can you roll back that graphic card driver update then, or is there some other reason that you must have this version right now?

How do I roll it back?
  • My game is working! I had an idea to look for a new version of nvidia inspector and now it's working!
  • Glad to hear it and sorry, should have suggested that! I have all AMD cards on my end so can't use Inspector and need to use a different tool to accomplish this instead, and yes if I don't keep it updated across GPU driver and Windows updates then it stops working correctly as well. :)
