One of my Sims keeps getting arrested?

Not really sure... have you tried resetting him? Do you use mods?

Try resetting him. For mods, I meant like Nraas mods, not the in-game cheats. I'm guessing you don't. :)

What time was it when your teen went to the diner? Teens have a curfew. Midnight maybe? 11pm? I'm not sure because I play with a mod to eliminate curfews.

What time of day was it? Was it some time other than curfew time? I sent a teen out jogging in the early morning before school once, and the police picked her up because it was before 6 AM. I hadn't realized before that, that the curfew extended to early morning.

I tried one of the Nraas mods it made the sims in my game look funny.

Ok - a couple of people have asked you about the time of day when your teen sim got arrested - was it during curfew or was it daytime?

There is a curfew system in the game for teens & children.
"Curfew" means that during certain hours minors are supposed to be at their home lots, with family members on public lots, or they can "ask to stay over" at other sims' houses. Not very different from real life, many towns do have curfews for minors.

The curfew for teens is from 11 pm to 6 am, if the police find a teen on a public lot during those hours they will "arrest" the teen & take him home.

Check the in-game clock to see what time it is when your teen is getting arrested. If it's during curfew, then you have your answer & all you have to do to stop it, is to keep your teen at home during curfew hours.

If it was evening there's a clear explanation. If it was daytime you have a problem.
