Outdoor Stairs - Builders Help
So I am trying to build a big house for my legacy. The 3rd generation is on the way and they all still live in what is basically a 3 room shack. I found some plans for the house I want but am having trouble getting the entrance right.
The main door to the house is on the second floor. I want the stair to go up to a small deck from either side and then up to the second floor door in the center. I can't get the stair to go from the deck to the second floor. The sit too high and won't connect to the floor. Here is the link to the plans so you can what I'm talking about:

This is my first major building project even though I've been playing since Sims1 had no expansions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
