PC Shopping

Hello! I’m PC hunting & my first thought was I will ask you lovely ppl. The Sims community has always been good to me. Plus The Sims in my experience is pretty demanding. I’ve never owned a PC that could run Sims 3 smoothly so what are your thoughts? What specs should I be aiming for with about a $1500 budget? I hope that’s enough.. Thanks in advance!

    Desktop or laptop? If desktop does your budget include monitor? Desktops come with keyboard and mouse. Monitor, wifi adapter, speakers are usually sold separately. Is your dollar amount USA, CA or Aus ? Custom where you pick out your own certified hardware is better than buying a computer mass produced off the shelf. This goes for both laptop and desktop. With a $1500 ( if USD) budget you should be able to go custom with desktop or laptop. There are companies where someone here can help you pick out custom hardware and the company will actually build the computer for you if you don't want to build yourself.

    Desktop with $1500 USD budget not including monitor. I had forgotten about the option to have it custom built so thanks for reminding me ! I
