Pet Shop register gone
When loading my save, I got a message stating that some objects were replaced. All expansions, store worlds and stuff packs were all there. I exited the game and reloaded but got the same message...

@KatyFernlily if you register your pets copy on the sims 3 store, you get the pet shop and the pets registration reward package. I’ve been playing with it for a while.
@GraceyManor Thank you. I looked in the installed tab and all the items from the pet shop (cash register, window, door, sign etc) were boxes instead of the actual pictures of the items. The pet shop lot itself was ok, it was just the related items. Also, the items from the pets registration reward package were the same; boxes instead of the pictures of the items.
I uninstalled and reinstalled all of these. Went into the game, bulldozed the pet shop and put back a fresh copy on the same lot. It worked. All the pet shop items (cash register, store sign, bone shaped welcome mat etc) are there.
I did discover that there is more to this weird pet related bug though. The house that has the local pet adoption (the one with the red tag that indicates they have pets for adoption) is bugged as well. You do not get any options like visit XYZ’s house or visit XYZ’s house with. I only get nraas on the menu for this house. I took a sim to the front of the house and you can just walk right in it without any prior interactions. If you interact with the owner of this house, you do not have the « ask about pet adoption » in the menu. Other interactions with him are normal. If you try to interact with the pets inside this house, your sim goes in front of it and the interaction cancels by itself. I tried to reset this house with master control but it did not fix the problem.
Could you try this in your game to see if you have this also ? There might be more related bugs as I have not tested using the adoption function on the computer/phone yet. I also do not have pets in my house at the moment. Both my dog and cat have passed away in between getting the missing items notice and reinstalling the pet shop lot. A sad moment for my sims.....
