Turning wallpaper into art
Certain in-game patterns are a great source of art. Simply choose your pattern and apply it onto some sort of wallpaper and onto a wall. Edit the pattern to suit your taste then snap a photo of it.
When building my Chic in the City apartment, I was in need of girly art decor. That's when I got the idea of using wallpaper patterns.
This is also a great way to utilize CC/store patterns while keeping your build CC/store-free.
After scanning the different pattern sections, I chose the dog pattern found in "Themed".

I've tweaked the colours because the original colours didn't really suit the interior I was going to use the photos with.

Build Mode also has many great wallpaper sets that you can choose from. I've always liked this mod style circles from "Misc." section.
