Hi, Jools!
It has been a long time since we talked, likely because I got really busy at my job (the end of spring semester is crazy for a college professor) and lost track of time.
First:
I just reread this entire thread and it is JUST as brilliant as I remember it being. I have been using photography so much more in building since reading this, but I realize I have STILL only been using a tiny fraction of what you taught.
Second:
I have made a thread to help builders with creating something I call a Builder's Blank Neighborhood. Here is the link:

I have some player-made lots (including the art gallery--The Greenwood Gallery-- that I showed some WIP photos for on your thread earlier) that I recommend be included in the BB Neighborhood and SEVERAL of yours are included. If you want to see, here is the link for that:

THANK YOU for making these lots that are CLEARLY intended to be of service to other builders!
Third:
Most of my photography has been using CAP to make patterns that I then photograph (so the upload doesn't contain a pattern). In this way you can create family photos of your REAL family (not you Sim version of them) or of you own builds or of famous art, basically anything you have an image of.
My Zoo U students are very interested in knowing how to do this and I plan a one lesson class on this subject within the next few weeks.
I WILL make reading this thread part of the course material, and if you want that is all I will do to involve you, but IF you wanted to team-teach this with me (I would teach the CAP lesson and talk about those photos and then the following week you would teach a more general photography class OR in the opposite order--- I am up for whatever you would be willing to do) that would be AWESOME!
You are CLEARLY the master of the photography skill. I think I have gotten pretty good at my little niche version of the skill's use, but I would love to see you give us your broader sense of what can be done with it.
Post on my Sim page to let me know what you think of the idea and THANKS AGAIN for this thread and all your uploads.
Zoo
P.S.
I saw your "Escape" song/story and I am in AWE. Fabulous job!!
