Question about Converting Sims3pack to Package

when i use Delphy's Multi Sims3pack Extractor and extract a house/lot, there's a bunch of files that have "0x" and then a bunch of numbers and letters after. Instead of one file that has the house in it, there's a bunch of them split up.

What do i do with those files? i know that if you have one package file that you put it in the library, but i have about 30 package files. If anyone can answer this so i can put the house in my game, i would appreciate it! sorry if this is in the wrong category btw. :)

  • Do you have the Mods\Packages framework set up to work with package based files like package-based CC and mods? If not, I'm afraid I'm not really seeing the point of doing this to the poor sims3packs. They need to be installed through the Launcher.

If you already have this, then it sounds like you require a package file editor like S3PE to examine each individual package file for clues as to what it's for.
  • That usually happens when a s3pack lot contains a bunch of third party CC. Typically, I use Custard to remove all the extra content, save the sims3pack with only the lot in it, and then extract to package using S3Pack Extractor.
It's an extra step but it gets rid of all the extra files and ensures that I don't get a bunch of CC that I don't actually want.

And because apart from slogging through all those package files that extracted with the lot in S3PE, I never found a way to identify the lot package itself from the other CC
