@TreyNutz thanks for that info. Fortunately I save as all the time and still had the copy of my pregnant sim before he tried to travel home. I just kept him in China for an extra day or two until he gave birth. Then he went home with the baby. He got pregnant in China.
I actually had two Sims do the same thing in the same save. Another male had previously got abducted while in France and gave birth there before they attempted to travel home.
They also cloned one of the locals while in France so that time two babies had to travel home with them from France.
The babies and toddlers have always been left at home since then and so far no more abductions or pregnancies have occurred while traveling.
