The zombies really are not that bad and the worst they do is tear up the garden if it is not fenced properly. You can put a fence around it and poof, no issues. You can also put items outside to distract them and it is so funny and cute to watch the zombies dance to the radio or rock in a rocker. I believe they will play basketball as well. I've never had a sim bitten. As far as I recall the potent cure elixir will cure zombies. I've never turned one on purpose though, but, I have thrown a few elixirs at them to get my sims their mastery, both turning and curing ones cause I really don't like being evil except to paparazzi. :lol:
