I love the sims 3 - I have all TS4 expansions but find myself getting fed up with how the game works it just never felt like the previous instalments, sure it has some great features but for me it just feels so hollow and empty. I started to play TS3 again a few months ago and i only had the base game and late night (I didn't play TS3 much as it never ran well enough) And it was really bad but i looked on YouTube for guides to make it run better and add new default skins so my sims look better and i have not looked back since, the game runs flawlessly (I do have a gaming PC) and i have had no lag issues or crashed in my save for about 4 months.
If you want to go back to TS3 just get performance mods and default skin replacements also lighting mods and to be it is now 1000% better than TS4. I will wait not for TS5.
