Hidden Springs Reimagined Update - Rebecca Keller (Here and There)

Yeah ... I could pretty much skip through most of her last trip to France. She did get the Library Mission at Admiral Landgraab's Estate and wiped out the tomb near the fishing pond in hopes of gathering better grapes ... But most of all, she made more than 200 bottles of nectar, with 15 combinations, and stomped more than 400 bunches of grapes using every nectar maker at the Nectary in sequence. She's completed all the challenges in Nectar Making.

Rebecca did catch a rather odd mission (Fun Run) where a gentleman by the name of Andre Lefebvre noted that she was in good shape, wanted to promote fitness in Champs Les Sims, and paid her a pile of simoleons to jog around town setting a good example. That didn't bother Rebecca seeing as she jogs everywhere she goes anyway with more than 7000 km behind her since the game has been keeping track. She completed the task jogging from the Base Camp to the Nectary to get paid ... 🤣

 She is kind of useful around town as she will clean toilets like this one at the Nectary, no matter how nasty they are. But ... She also remembered she is a Witch and Magically Upgraded the toilet to self-cleaning. Then she got the bright idea to upgrade all the Nectar Makers for Improved Taste ... 🤣😂

Rebecca did meet the Relic Dealer, Noelle Saint James (Elliot's wife) ... And Noelle translated the Admiral's Code for Rebecca and Gaston. And yes ... I did put a different dress on her because I didn't like the one she was wearing ... Sims in my game sometimes have to suffer my poor taste in clothing ... 🤣

SilverJanSims​ ... As far as the Nectary Tombs go ... I made it through the secret room in the common area downstairs, then investigated as far as possible elsewhere until I ran into a named keystone being required. It's not going to let me access the important parts of the rest of the tombs I haven't already searched until I visit Egypt ... The Adventure Board kept trying to send me to Egypt for one reason or another.

Rebecca spent most of her time in the latter part of her trip gathering fruits or turning them into nectar. She basically just pitched a tent at her new homestead and planted a small garden to ensure and progress the proper seed stock. She's seen a house she likes in Dragon Valley and is considering having the builder construct one similar in France with a few adjustments. It won't completely match the other French styles, but her property isn't near the town.

Sorry if it offends anyone ... But my Sims tend to purchase and build on the large estate at 100 West Southbank ... That's the big house with all the grapes growing at different levels. The house looks neat and is interesting, but much like the castle that is also for sale ... They are both a mess inside and hard to figure out anything to do to make them more serviceable or at least convenient for anyone living in them. Otherwise ... It's a prime piece of real estate, no one is living there and it's for sale. My sims bulldoze the lot and if folks are worried about access to the grapes ... They are welcome to come loot the garden at whatever house is there. I don't lock the gate, every variety will be available, and at a much higher quality than any other grapes in France.

The Thyme House in China was a little different because it is in sections that you can work with ... Without having to entirely gut the inside, or figure out what to do with wonky walls, narrow passageways and a bunch of tiny rooms. But ... It's quite possible that's just my problem ... 🤣😂

Rebecca finally made it back home to Hidden Springs and almost immediately went to work on her first Masterpiece Silver Wings ... Which turned out to be a complete flop and hardly worth the trouble writing ... 🤣 She did plan on staying home longer this trip because the seed stock she has available and the garden growing in her basement just makes it so she will be better prepared with fruit when she travels again.

Undaunted by her recent failure ... She dove right back into her second attempt at a Masterpiece Stalwart Intentions ... 🤣 She's determined and will stay with it until she writes something decent again ... Rebecca has perseverance.

With time on her hands back in Hidden Springs, she attended some more parties with friends, as well as catching up on some skating and snowboarding. The snow is nice, and she attended a party at Carly Ruiz's new house, among others.

The baked angel food cake came off without a hitch, and everyone enjoyed it. In fact, the whole evening was rather uneventful until Rebecca ran into Nicholas in the study and accidentally let it slip that his wife Hanna was sleeping around Hurbert Ridley.

I don't know what to do with Story Progression ... Carl and Maya Abbot are now on sour terms as well ... And I am not sure if Peter and Adele Winterly are not the only constant couple in town that still likes each other ... 🤣💖 Even at Carly's party and late into the evening, her new husband was missing in action. Everyone else seems to be chasing each other around and messing around with folks they shouldn't be. Rebecca is really doing whatever she can to ignore advances by others and staying out of that mess.

Edit: Looks like this one turned out way better than her first attempt, and making Rebecca as well as her publishers a bit happier with the results ... 🤣
