Re: What happened in your sims 3 game today?

Hope you're all having a Thankful Thursday!

PalmArrow​  Your houseboat build is great.  I like to renovate the houseboats in Isla Paradiso when I have a sim that lives on one but don't play in that world much due to the lags and issues on the 'free' resort lot which causes some of the employees walk around underground especially with the last resort I built on it, which is in my gallery.  If I could figure out the name of the sims who was underground (usually if a contact of my sim), I would reset them that would fix it for awhile until they went underground again.  That lot is so uneven that it's hard to get the various rooms of the resort situated properly. Otherwise after deleting three of the lots mentioned in a fix thread that were causing lag issues the world seemed to work better though.  Maybe I'll try again on my new laptop to see if that helps. 

Here's an update from Chang & Honey Crockett who have just finished their first week in Barnacle Bay which so far is working alright except for a 'non-responsive' scare last night that I had to end task for but thankfully the important events had all been saved.  After a game repair, the game reloaded without a hitch.  

In addition to starting the upstairs landing family area, I decorated the nursery which was a good thing as not long after that Chang & Honey tried for their first baby and near the end of my 'visit' with them, they welcomed their first child into the world, a daughter whom they named, 'Holly'.  Chang got his wish of having a 'girl' while Honey is thrilled with being a mother, she's hoping for a 'boy' next time.  Who knew that the 'yellowish' skintone would be dominate as Holly was born with her father's skin .  Since both Chang & Honey love music and are 'virtuoso' and their daughter was born with the same trait, I changed the name of their unofficial legacy to 'Crockett Melodies'.  Hopefully Honey's wish to have a horse will come true in my next visit with the family.

Here are the pictures from Chang & Honey's first week living in Barnacle Bay were Honey has joined the music career and has already become good friends with beginner celebrity, Jasmine Noon and is now a two star celebrity.  Chang's new military boss is Agnes Seabottom.  He's finding out that getting ahead at level 9 in the career is harder than it looks as his work meter is still a little bit in the red but hopes to change that with more exercise and improving the necessary skills and completing opportunities as they come up.

Let's start with a nice panoramic view of Barnacle Bay where you can see Chang & Honey's turquoise home in the distance.

Here are pictures of the nursery that was decorated with two shades of pink including  Sims 3 Pink (ffa2bf) and  Misty rose                  (f1dcda) with touches of a dark turquoise shade called, Persian Green  (1A968A).

Later, Chang mourned the passing of his first pet rodent.

Meet Chang's newest rodent, a Pygmy Hedgehog whom he named 'Nibbles'.

Chang raiding a garden that he found in the garden of an unoccupied house in the countryside area of Barnacle Bay.  He harvest some tomatoes, apples and watermelon and then planted an apple tree and watermelon plant in his garden at home.

While visiting Barnacle Bay's countryside, Chang was able to catch a Pygmy Komodo dragon and a Cuckatoo for his zoologist collection which he had to start over for his LTW as the critters he brought with him didn't count anymore.  He named this lizard, Ammon.

Meet Rin, Chang's white cuckatoo who is playing in his bird tree stand.  He hopes to put another bird tree in the music corner of the upstairs and catch another large bird to keep Rin company.

Now for the moment you've all been waiting for meet Chang & Honey's newborn daughter, Holly who will be a music lover like her parents (virtuoso) but also a little on the forgetful side with her 'Absent Minded' personality.  As you can see, she looks like her father so far.
