Really, really silly question re: download and install

Apologies in advance if this seems newbish, but can anyone help with a query? I'm downloading the Store items on a new computer using a Steam install for the first time, hence am not just transferr...

Thank you all, in between work shifts and sleep I've managed to install a fair bit of the Store and I did re-download the SimGurus' Festival lots afterwards. They were the same smaller size as before, maybe the Exchange had the file sizes wrong? They're in the game now though and seem to be fine. :)
