Wow. I have just returned to TS3 in the last few days and now I see this thread with other returnees.
I have not played TS3 for nearly 10 years so I have a lot of remembering to do as well as trying to wrap my head around the changes and the new stuff that came with all the expansions.
I have been gobsmacked at the depth of gameplay in TS3 and how much personality the individual sims have. I had a big Sims-free break after I left TS3 and came back when TS4 was released. For the most part, I have been happy with TS4 but I think that was because I only remembered the lag and problems I’d had with TS3 and not the joy. Now I am rediscovering TS3 and having a wonderful time. It’s a great game for sure.
