Removing Spawners From Worlds

I am tired of sending my Sims all over to collect vast numbers of Blue Topaz, Monarchs, Water Beetles etc. Some worlds have a lot of very basic spawners. Is there a way to remove the simplest ones? Those items are spawned by other spawners as well. I just tried clicking an area with two water beetles then NRass / Debug Enabler / Radius Purge / 3. This gave me a message about deleting a Stag Beetle spawner. That's one I would like to keep. These spawners are not on lots so I can't edit them out with buyDebug.
