Have fun! Years ago I was gifted something like 4 expansion packs at once and did nothing but play Sims and sleep for a solid week. :D It was amazing.
Yeah I took advantage of the Steam summer sale and bought all the EP's I didn't already have that weren't Generations, Seasons, and Pets. However I didn't buy any of the stuff packs and would rather wait on all those.- CororonSeasoned RookieYay! Have fun! The Stuff Packs are nice too, but they usually don't add much to the gameplay, but some objects are nice.

Ooo those is some of my favorite packs. Get ready for a new game XD.- I had them all except one. Finally broke down and bought it a few months ago only because I was getting a little bored and thought some new stuff, no matter how little of it I use might add something. I've been playing now since Sims 3 was released how many years ago? I don't play any other version.
- Your wallet contents did not die in vain or without regret. They will live on in sim heaven,it is a place where beautiful buildings sit amidst gorgeous open landscapes and every minute new stories are created no matter how happy or sad you want them to be.Because you control everything in this magical world and will soon get lost in bliss and forget about mere monetary losses. As evil as it sounds you will be glad your money passed away it went to a better place :p
- @CravenLestat , That was beautiful.... :'(
 - @CravenLestat Lovely! It's true that it is money well spent for all the joy that can be had from the game :)
- I feel your pain mate.
İt is like a addiction.Once you buy an expansion pack you can't stop yourself from completing entire serie especially on sales - @Rhiannon58 Not exactly—Steam installs don't mix with either discs or Origin. You could, however, do one of two things. The first is buy every new pack you want (you'd also need to buy another copy of the base game) on Steam and transfer it to Origin. Steam provides a CD key for each purchase, and these codes work in Origin in the same way the product codes from discs do. Everything would be available to download through your Origin library.
Your other option would be to rebuy everything you want, including the packs you already own, through Steam, uninstall the Origin version, and just play through Steam. Although more expensive, you'd be on patch 1.67 instead of 1.69 and be able to avoid Origin entirely, as well as the pack selector. The game plays exactly the same on either platform, and store content works fine too, as long as you manually download the store content patch.
You probably know that Steam is having a sale right now, but it should also be pointed out that the extra copy of the base game you'd need to buy would also net you 1,000 SimPoints if you registered it through Origin, regardless of which platform you used going forward. So would a copy, or another copy, of WA.
P.S. If you do buy packs on Steam, look for the discounted bundles. They're even cheaper than the individual packs.
