Running water noise wont go away

Hi, so this is stressing me out and I've done all I can think.

The shower was broken, so I repaired it. The noise stayed, so I deleted it and replaced it. Still the noise so I bought a different one. Still. I reset the lot, reset the town (Master Controller), moved them out and back. Quit without saving.
I cant see any running water just hear the noise where the shower used to be. I'm not sure what else to try.
  • When you moved them out and back, did you copy the residential lot down to the bin, bulldoze the original, and replace it with a copy? Without those in between steps, the lot won't be fully restructured. This is within Edit Town, by the way, so not really moving them out but Evicting them and then putting them back into the replaced residential lot.
  • I am so happy I posted this last time, as I have it again! Just my luck! At least I know what to do now, since I posted this topic! :D
  • I know this looks like the EA official forums, but that's just a clever disguise. Welcome to @cleo00's personal knowledge base. If you're really nice, you might be given permission to use it as well. :p
  • @igazor I'm just annoyed that I still have this stupid bug!
But yeah, when I was trying to Google a solution all that came up was ts4 stuff even though I searched "sims 3 broken shower noise", and I thought you know, I'm almost certain I posted about this the last time it happened, so I checked through my posts and you bet I did!
  • In real life I'd say you have a plumbing problem someplace you can't see, so I'd try demolishing the bathroom and rebuilding it. Good luck; that would be irritating!

I noticed a ticking sound in my game the other night but it goes away if I mute in-game music. :/ I feel your pain. Sorry, I can't be of more help... You've tried everything I would try.
