It's perfect, the dark brown makes the reading area warmer but for the entrance the light gold/beige tone is much better. I think it was worth it you found very lovely tones of these colours, though you don't have to stick to 'my' colours If you find a completely different one much more suited or needed, I'm ok with everything (as long as it is not blue).

Hm, I'm a bit uncertain about the chairs, it is nothing major and I think there aren't even many good choices. I just feel like they don't want to fit in quite right or maybe it is just a personal thing. I don't know if it is a lot of pain to change those things so I'll leave choice to you :p
