I would prefer the lighter carpet version (with the circles) for the 2nd floor. The area looks amazing, a lovely divider idea.

Ok good, I'm glad you chose those chairs. I will keep on keeping on :) I'm about 3/4 of the way done, so it just depends on how much time I have to work on it as to when it gets done. Thank you for your patience.
