Saved Outfits folder

Hello. I play The sims 3 from begining, but I still don´t know, how works "SavedOutfits" folder in The sims 3 Documents. I have it empty. I can save there some outfits, or how can I use this folder and fill it? Or it is useless folder and it will be empty always? Thanks for help.
