Seasons. Holidays disappeared

Both my spooky day and winter festival day didn't pop up. I got the message that the festival was in town, etc, and the festival grounds were working, not no moodlet/message on actual day.
however, spring day occured with moodlet and all. Not sure if it's related, but by then I had made a new save. (But I have made many new saves throughout the game)
