I wish I could help you but I don't know :(

I just know that most of newsea's CC hairstyles automatically blend the colors better than EA's system. So when I want a nifty hair color, I chose one of those styles and then play with the colors until it blends like I want it to. Example - Ashton. No CC colors, just regular colors with a newsea better blended style:
