The "echo as you call it; was intentional. I meant for their to be coordination between the wall stripes and the area rug. I try to be careful not to mix too many patterns in a room. The polka dots on the screen was going a little risque for me, but I think it worked out alright. I'm still thinking maybe something needs to be added to it but I'm not sure what; maybe a lounge chair or easy chair.
