Here is my entry for the Marriage of Style competition being hosted by Repulsive Desire over at Living Sims. I chose to combine Rustic and Tropical together. The architecture/bones of the space are rustic and the furniture, plants, and decoration are tropical. I tried combining both styles for the fireplace. The fireplace had to be the one I spent the longest on going back and forth with textures.
Any comments are welcomed and appreciated. :)

Though it isn't my style, I think it's well done. It looks very lived in. In fact, it looks like someone needs to come in there with a steam cleaner and work on some of that upholstery. I think my only real gripe would be the lack of light in the room. I do love the beams on the ceiling. I wish TS3 had something like that, which wouldn't be cc.
