I'm going to have to agree that the social worker taking the kids away scenario does not by itself indicate or cause game corruption no matter how much one player here insists that it does. Granted it's not a scenario most players want to have happen (guess there could be some exceptions), it's not always understood well by all players especially those who switch active households without mod protection, it can sometimes really be forced culling in what the game mistakenly thinks is an overpopulated world or an out of balance population, but from all reports this is a facet of the game that generally does work as intended at least on current patch levels.
The babysitter waltzing off with a baby or toddler in their arms right before our eyes when the adults come home can't really have been intended, that almost has to be a bug in the game though thankfully I've never seen it, but it's not really corruption either and is not difficult to prevent if the player is paying attention and steps in if it's about to happen.
