Signs of Corruption

One of my recent saves became corrupt. Leighton Sekemoto was a police officer. He was called in on an extra shift, but now he won't stop working. If I send him home, even after his normal shift, it still says that he is working and his performance goes down. I was devastated. He had almost mastered his career and he had almost completed his lifetime wise. :(

@kaitlyn0 -That sounds like a social worker might've taken an inactive family's baby,toddler or child away and the sim wasn't fully deleted as I had that corrupt a few older saves and it corrupted once from the social worker taking my family's baby.I had problems where my sims couldn't get to work or stay at work when they got there and that glitch happened when my family's baby was taken with the mum.

That has been proven may times over to be false. When a Social Worker takes a baby from the household the game ages the baby up to child and places it the Service Pool.

I’ve heard this too as some simmers have adopted kids that have their kids names that were taken away...and they look like the parents.

I’ve heard horror stories about that too! I’m actually doing an experiment with 4 pregnant Claire Ursines in a brand new SV save to see if I can have someone else in town adopt one of the 4 babies that will be taken away...(I’m really bored!! ;) ).

We all get like that sometimes :) I always rember when it happened, because I was wondering where the babysitter was taking my toddler and she left with her in the car. Nowdays, when the parents are back after calling a babysitter, I make sure that the baby/toddler is on the floor. Can't take any chances.

That social worker situaltion used to transfer that child into the adotion pool in TS2 though that was reported to have been changed in TS3 though it is possible to get an adopted child that might look like some of your sims if you're using NRaas for story progression to influance genetics of immigrant NPC's and adoption pool children.I've heard of others losing saves to corruption after children were taken away by social workers in TS3.I even lost three saves to corruption from that myself in Sims 3 though it never happened in TS2 without me exiting the lot without saving and reloading.
