My teen sim on generations, got grounded, and tried to sneak out of the house to go to prom. My sim has been stuck walking the sneak walk since she was grounded, and even though she is now an adult, she still sneaks everywhere. I tried resetting her, but it didn't work. Any suggestions as to how I may fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

This has happened to me before, if your Sim is still a teen, send them to boarding school, about one Sim day, when you remove them from school, they should stop with the "sneak walk." I hope this helps, it has worked for me in the past.

Thanks for everyone's help concerning sim in sneak mode. I found a solution for the problem when I removed my sim from the home in edit town mode, and placing her in another sims home. Then I continued playing my game for a few minutes, saved, went back to edit town mode, and retrieved my sim that I had placed in another home, then placed her back into the home I am currently playing. Sneak mode gone.

I get kind of mad becasue we spend hundreds of dollars and hours on this game and the bugs are unbelievably stupid.

Having the same problem.

My main sim in my story is stuck in sneak. I couldn't reset him so now i have to resettown :cry:

Then I continued playing my game for a few minutes, saved, went back to edit town mode, and retrieved my sim that I had placed in another home, then placed her back into the home I am currently playing. Sneak mode gone.

Cool, thanks i am going to try this right now I have the same problem. I get kind of mad becasue we spend hundreds of dollars and hours on this game and the bugs are unbelievably stupid.

I just tried it and it did not work. Maybe because she is still a teenager? I guess I will try resetting the town. partay !!!

You have to go to edit town while playing and move the family out and into the bin to the left, and then back into the house. It works every time. You don't need to reset the whole town.

This has happened to me before, if your Sim is still a teen, send them to boarding school, about one Sim day, when you remove them from school, they should stop with the "sneak walk." I hope this helps, it has worked for me in the past.

I have the same problem with 3 different sims. I'll try boarding school for the teens and edit town for the young adult, but I wish EA would just create a fix in a patch or something. :roll:

a fun thing i learned is that if you do this, you will lose all progress on your top investigator lifetime wish. i was 27 cases in and it reset back to 0. :evil: one would think they'd fix all these glitches after so long.
